Gretchen brings her own life experiences into her work. Growing up and living in Minnesota, the influence of the lake lifestyle is ever present in her creative process, showcasing whimsical fishing lures and tackle that represent the classic charm of Minnesota summers on the lake. Her recent series captures the bold influence of Texas life with longhorns, cacti and charming rustic objects.
